My Top 5 Oils for Cleaning!!
1. Orange:
Great with grease...and it smells WONDERFUL!
Kitchen Cleaner

1 cup baking soda
-
1/4 cup liquid castile soap

10 drops lemon essential oil
-
10 drops lime essential oil
-
10 drops wild orange essential oil

Mix ingredients together to form a paste (add more castile soap if needed). Apply with rag or sponge, then rinse with clean water. I especially like to use this on my stovetop and on grimy sinks.
2. Tea Tree:
Fights germs, bacteria and viruses.

Shower Spray

1.5 cups water
-
1 cup white vinegar
-
1/2 cup rubbing alcohol
-
1 teaspoon natural liquid dish soap (not castile soap)

15 drops lime essential oil
-
15 drops tea tree essential oil
​
Combine in a quart-sized spray bottle. Spray daily on shower door and walls after use (this is a preventative spray, designed to help prevent build-up)

3. Lemon:
Antiviral and Antibacterial. And it smells great!!!

Kitchen/Multipurpose Cleaner

2 cups white vinegar
-
2 cups water
-
1 teaspoon natural dish soap (NOT castile soap)

30 drops lemon essential oil

Mix in a spray bottle and use for cleaning.I will sometimes add a few drops of orange oil to cut down on grease in the kitchen as well.
4. Thieves:
A natural defense! It is a germ killer and boosts your immunity.

Thieves Multipurpose Cleaner

1 part water
-
1/2 part distilled white vinegar​
-
2 drops of Thieves oil per ounce of liquid​
-
1 drop Lemon oil for every other ounce of liquid​

This cleaner is a great disinfectant. I use it to wipe down door handles and use it to clean my sons toys.
5. Lavender:
Fights odors and freshens.

Linen Spray

1/4 cup distilled water
-
3 tablespoons witch hazel or vodka
-
20 drops lavender essential oil
-
15 drops frankincense essential oil
​
Add all ingredients to a small spritzer, shake well, and spray on sheets, pillowcases, and linens.
